MapInfo Professional/Discover and Quest West Data - Using MapInfo/Discover to Select Exploration Targets
This three-day MapInfo Professional / Discover course will familiarize geologists with the tools available to analyze geochemical and geophysical data sets, as well as create geologic maps and print layout. The course consists of a series of lectures and hands-on exercises using the recently released Geoscience BC data in the Quest West area to build maps and visualize data. Each attendee is required to provide their own laptop. An evaluation license for both MapInfo and Discover will be provided if the attendee does not have their own license. Some MapInfo Professional experience would be useful. Attendees will be provided with the Quest West data sets and auxiliary programs.
