AVADepth - Online Water Depth Forecasts
Problem:
The Canadian Coast Guard wanted more convenient methods for distributing their reports and graphs to help river pilots decide on the best time to move a ship up or down the shipping channel in the South Arm of the Fraser River.
Solution:
Using Active Server Pages and server components, Avadepth Internet is an on-line application that allows river pilots, using a standard web browser, to access water depth reports, graphs, and sounding drawings on the Internet.
